Who is responsible?

Finedge Accounting Ltd, company number 16250944, is responsible for personal information it receives directly for its own business purposes. Our registered office is 6 drydock Square, Barking, London, United Kingdom. Postcode: IG11 7BP.

What information do we use?

If you submit the form or email us, we may receive your name, work contact details, company, service interest and the information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, access codes or unredacted identity documents by ordinary email.

Why do we use it?

We use enquiry information to respond, understand whether we can help, take steps requested before entering a contract, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. We do not sell enquiry information.

How long is it kept?

Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, record keeping, dispute management and legal or regulatory requirements. Retention may be longer once an engagement begins, as set out in the engagement documentation.

Who receives it?

Information may be handled by authorised staff and service providers supporting email, secure document exchange, accounting or hosting. Access should be limited to what is needed. Engagement documentation explains controller and processor roles where relevant.

Form security

We use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated abuse. When you submit, your browser connects to Google for verification. Google processes browser and device information under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The server sends Google the verification token, not your enquiry fields.

Our form stores a keyed hash of the connection IP address and attempt times to limit repeated submissions. Attempts expire after 15 minutes and expired entries are removed on the next submission. Hosting providers may also maintain access logs.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your personal information, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Contact contact@finedgeaccounting.co.uk first so we can address your request. You can also visit the ICO complaints guidance ↗.
